Content Manager Online (English speaker)

The Position

Online gambling is a rapidly expanding marketspace. Our Client has a large share in the Netherlands and with great quality content has the potential to grow its success across the border. There are several international project that are waiting to be launched. When these websites (in English language) are launched they need to be updated on a daily basis with fresh content (news, reviews etc.) in English. Content creation and management is thus a daily routine for you, and something you love doing. Besides writing you will grow into your role as account manager of these websites. You will keep close contact with affiliate managers of companies our Client promotes such as 888, Betsson and LeoVegas: via e-mail, but sometimes also via skype and a few times per year on Gaming Conferences in Amsterdam, Budapest and London.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Write new content in English (news, blog articles, adding information and pages etc.) on a daily basis.
• Keep in touch with affiliate managers by communicating with them about latest offers, creatives, online tracking etc. Primarily via e-mail, but sometimes also via skype. This is always done in English.
• Being responsible for the content organization of the websites.
• In part, (only the first few months) translate Dutch content to English content.
• Rapidly learn about the latest SEO (Search Engine Optimization) techniques and applying them to improve our Client’s Google positions.

Your Profile

You hold a Bachelor degree (HBO) or University Bachelor or Master Degree in either communication, English language, marketing or business related fields or you can prove you have a huge interest in this field. You can write texts that apply to and attract a wide audience. You have basic knowledge of online marketing and SEO. You have basic knowledge of affiliate marketing or you at least express a huge interest in the internet. You are commercially savvii; you know how to communicate with potential clients / leads and interest them to convert. You can speak and write Dutch and English fluently. You are an enthusiastic but at the same organized, structured person.

Our Client is a young and innovative online company with multiple I-Gaming affiliate websites across Europe. The company is looking to increase its share in the English speaking markets (.com). iGaming is the company’s market place, affiliation its core business. With her portfolio of websites our Client binds tens of thousands of online gaming fans offering them a wealth of strategy, tips and information. The headquarter is based in the thrilling centre of Amsterdam. Currently 5 people strong our Client is now looking for a very motivated online content management talent. The motto is to work and have fun, in a team of young people, very much hands on. The atmosphere is informal and the employees regularly also meet outside work.
