The Position

The Program Manager fosters customer satisfaction and loyalty by maximizing the performance of customer programs and contracts through successful implementation, administration and proactive monitoring. The Program Manager is directly responsible for proactive high quality operational and tactical support of assigned programs and is also responsible for managing these programs. The focus of the Program Manager is on the administration of existing programs and performing day to day activities related to these programs.

Within this position you will:
  • Support the Sales organization with implementation of assigned programs;
  • Help to define contract/program requirements, assists in the preparation of commercial proposals, and provides recommendations on pricing terms;
  • Work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure contract provisions are clear, communicated effectively across the organization, and conform to company policy;
  • Administer long term agreements and contracts for assigned customers to ensure the successful fulfilment of contractual, fiscal and performance obligations. In the context of assigned programs, you will serve as a point of contact to resolve customer issues;
  • Monitor and analyse contract performance, delivery schedules, validity of pricing, terms and conditions, stocking requirements;
  • Be responsible for the analysis and forecasting of spare parts usage;
  • Provide input for business intelligence and seeks opportunities for continuous improvement;
  • Individually or in coordination with other functions provide daily administration and analysis of customer orders, purchase advises, and recommend stock location and replenishment policy;
  • In cooperation with Sales, you might participate in the contract review and dispute resolution with the customer;
  • Develop, use and share industry and customer business knowledge together with knowledge of products and core capabilities of own company;
  • Direct identified business development opportunities to the sales organization;
  • Review KPI metrics from customers including sharing results through Kobra (Salesforce);
  • Support ad-hoc requests from Business Development for new and existing customers.

Your Profile

We believe you have the right skills set for the job when you:
  • Have a bachelor degree in a relevant area of education such as in Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain Management;
  • Have successful Customer Service Experience, Procurement or Supply Chain experience;
  • Are empathetic to customers and have a working understanding of internal operational processes, roles and responsibilities;
  • Have a basic understanding of forecasting and variance analysis;
  • Are computer savvy, including advanced proficiency with data manipulation and analytical functions of MS Excel;
  • Are persuasive having excellent presentation, oral, written and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Are able to act as an internal advisor and specialist for the organization and able to be service orientated towards external stakeholders;
  • Have great planning skills in order to look ahead, comply with our (customer agreements and to avoid financial, hardship);
  • Have strong analytical skills;
  • Are proactive and have the drive to learn new things quickly.
