The Position

As Inside Sales Manager you lead a team of Inside Sales Representatives (12 employees) responsible for quoting activities, developing new prospects, and interacting with existing customers to increase sales of the Company’s products and services. You are responsible for planning and implementing sales activities to meet company targets, maintain profitability, establish customer relationships, and work towards growth and continuous improvement of all aspects of the Inside Sales function. You support the strategic vision and goals of the Company and ensure that the Inside Sales strategy is well-communicated. You ensure employee performance outcomes and behaviors are in alignment. You champion individual professional development within the team and make time to mentor. You empower the team with what they need to complete their daily tasks via servant leadership principles and you ensure there is proper and complete communication between internal team members and external stakeholders. You stimulate collaboration within the team to ensure the team acts like a single unit marching in the same direction.

Your Profile

You have a higher level of education and at least five years of related sales experience in an international (trade) organization. You have two to three years leadership experience, leading a multi-cultural team. You have strong people skills with the ability to steer, commercially drive the team members and ensuring they continuously and proactively approach the customers before and after quoting. You have great rapport building skills and relationship management skills. You have extensive experience in Consultative Selling. Your written and oral communications skill in Dutch and English are excellent. You are generally proficient with ERP software and Salesforce or similar CRM applications.
